Q. How many beers produce an illegal BAC?
So you've had a few beers... How many would it typically take to produce a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher, making it illegal to drive in the State of California?
A. While the answer depends on many variables, if you started drinking at 10pm and consumed one beer every 15 minutes until 11:30, your blood alcohol could be well over the California .08 legal limit by Midnight, and stay there until 2 to 3 am!
