Investigating Your Case
In the initial consultation we will be able to identify the areas of potential defense. In many cases it is necessary to go to the scene of the arrest to determine whether there was a valid reason to stop the vehicle. In many cases, the officer's description of the place of the arrest is not accurate.
The place where field sobriety tests were administered is extremely important. The slop of the ground or roadway will affect the ability to perform these tests. Other factors, such as temperature, wind, lighting, traffic, etc. can affect a persons ability to perform these tests.
The accuracy, or lack thereof, of the chemical test must be determined before a complete evaluation can be completed.
Advocate Legal Service will do a complete and comprehensive investigation and evaluation of your case. You will receive a written evaluation which reviews all aspects of the case. Recommendations will be made on how to proceed. Supporting information and legal evaluations will be provided so the client can readily understand the reasons for the recommendations and have the foundations from which to make an intelligent and informed basis for making a decision on how to proceed.
